Another school visit with my best helper Oliver 🐾

Today we talked about animal care and the veterinary field. The kids got to listen to Oliver’s heartbeat 🩺scan his microchip, and even check out real syringes and needles💉! Future vets in the making!

Pumpkin the cat had a close call this holiday season🎄

She managed to swallow a needle with the thread still attached! 😱 The needle got stuck in her esophagus, and we were lucky to catch it in time before it moved into her stomach. A quick vet visit and some careful handling saved her life. 🏥🐾

This just goes to show how dangerous small holiday decorations can be for curious pets.

⚠️Tinsel, ribbons, and ornaments may seem harmless, but they can easily be ingested, leading to life-threatening blockages or injuries.

⚠️ Other common holiday hazards:

•Small ornaments or decorations with sharp edges

•Tinsel or ribbon that can cause internal damage

•Holiday foods like chocolate, bones, and alcohol, which are toxic to pets

Please keep these items out of your pet’s reach and be mindful of their safety this season.

Kindergarden visit on Worlds Animal day 🌎🐾

Had a wonderful time visiting a local kindergarten on World Animal Day! 🐾 🌎

Kira 🐈‍⬛and Oliver🐕, were brought to help the kids learn about animals up close. We talked about how to care for them, and how to safely interact with pets, especially in case of aggression.
The children were so engaged, and we even had fun with a special animal presentation featuring photos and sounds! 🔈
To top it off, I received the sweetest gift – a drawing created by the whole class. My heart is full! 💕
