It contains dehydrated apple pulp and dehydrated red beetroot. Since this product is offered dry, its use improves the faecal consistency.

Psittacus Mini Hand Rearing Formula - for Conures, Galahs, Rosellas, Cockatiels, Ring-necked Parakeets and Alexandrine Parakeets.

Use

This product is intended for hand-rearing psittacine chicks from the moment that the feathers begin to emerge. It is particularly suitable for small-sized seed-eating species such as Cockatiels, Galahs, Sun Conures, Rosellas, Ring-necked parakeets and Alexandrines (Nymphicus, Eolophus, Aratinga, Platycercus, etc.).

Directions for use

It is a continuation hand feeding formula. For example, in Cockatiels it is used from 2nd week of life when the feathers begin to emerge. It is advisable to use a first-age formula for younger birds. It is designed to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet. During weaning stage, it should be gradually replaced by solid food. Mix with lukewarm water to a concentration of 20-25% (similar texture of a shaken yogurt). Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if it is hermetically sealed).

Daily intake

Average consumption of formula per serving is around 7-10 ml per 100 g of body weight. It is advisable to provide each individual chick the adequate amount and number of feeds according to their stage of development. Must take into account that parrots crop should be empty before each feeding.

Composition

Cereal grains, products and by-products of oil seeds and fruits, vegetable oils, legume seeds, products and by-products of cereal grains, minerals, dried whole egg, fructose, dried brewer's yeast, inulin (0.05%)

Additives

Mixture of flavouring compounds, rosemary extract, African marigold extract (contains yucca extract 0.015%) / Sepiolite / Tocopherol-rich extracts of natural origin, palmitoyl-6-ascorbic acid / Compounds of trace elements (ferrous chelate, cupric chelate, manganese chelate, zinc chelate; calcium iodate anhydrous and hydroxy-analogue of selenomethionine) / Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effects (A, D3, E, C, K, B1, B2, B6, B12, Pantothenic acid, Niacin, Folic acid, Biotin, Choline chloride, B-carotene, Betaine anhydrous)

It is designed to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet in non-reproductive periods.

However, if fresh fruit and vegetables are provided daily to lend variety to the diet, we recommend that Omega Formula should constitute no less than 70-80% of the total intake.

No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose basic principal food is Omega Formula. It is appropriate to renew food and water daily.

Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if it is hermetically sealed).

species.

We recommend to restrict the
amount in species that tend to gain weight such as those in the genera Amazona, Cacatua, Psittacula, Eclectus, etc.

This extruded food is very palatable and has a high nutritional value.

It is especially recommended for stages when the parrots have greater nutritional needs (young parrots,parrots with
nutritional deficiencies, etc.). In addition, it has been formulated paying special attention to the profile of fatty
acids and the contribution of Omega6 and Omega3.

This is a complementary product intended for adult parrots of the subfamily Loriinae (lories and lorikeets). It contains highly digestible ingredients with a high proportion of dried fruit and sugars, particularly suitable for Loriinae diet to achieve the maximum quality and palatability. We recommend providing Lory Nectar and Lory Gel simultaneously. Both products are able to cover properly the particular nutritional needs of different lory species in every moment, regulating themselves the ingest of each product.
Directions for use

It is advisable to provide the Lory Nectar simultaneously with Lory Gel in different feeders. Both products are preferably supplied in dry form, but it can be provided mixed with water until a creamy texture. In warm environments, the product should be renewed more than once a day if it is diluted with water. It is important to clean out the feeders daily. We recommend supplementing the diet with fresh fruit every day. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose basic diet is Lory Nectar and Lory Gel formulas. Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if hermetically sealed).

This product is intended for small size species (genera Agapornis, Cyanoramphus, Pyrrhura, Forpus etc.) which consume a great diversity of foods in the wild: seeds, fruit, berries, leaves, buds and even some invertebrates.

Approximate daily intake ranges from 10% to 18% of the animals body weight. Ambient temperature greatly influences intake.
