Please, we beg you! 🙏 Don’t shave Pomeranians!

It pains us to see that in Cyprus, many people shave their Pomeranians “for the summer,” thinking it helps them cope with the heat.

But in reality, it damages their coat, disrupts their natural thermoregulation, and almost always leads to alopecia (irreversible hair loss) or long-term problems with fur growth.

‼️Dogs do not cool down through their skin like humans. Their fur is their natural protection from heat, cold, and sun. By shaving it off, you’re leaving your dog defenseless.

💔 It’s heartbreaking to see beautiful Pomeranians lose their coats forever — simply because of misunderstanding or lack of knowledge.

❌Please don’t do this. Instead, brush them properly, bathe them, and dry them the right way. We’re always happy to explain how to care for their coat without causing harm.
