Something amazing has happened. We have very nearly reached 10000 signatures in 4 days.
This does not generally happen with Petitions in Cyprus. It’s relatively small and many people obviously use the Greek language so posts in English fail to attract enough support.
Our Petition is now world wide. This is not because AAC is so very well known (we certainly value our followers but we are still quite small) it is because this Petition has struck a cord. So many have taken animals to the airports and been absolutely terrified when told by staff to take their much loved pet out of a travel box in a crowded area with a lot of noise. Their baby has been terrified and many accidents have happened. This time a kitten was killed and the staff had the audacity to ask the distraught volunteer to clean up the kittens blood.
We have meetings arranged with Hermes now. This kittens sad death will bring about changes.
I personally wrote to Hermes last October about the risk. They did nothing. They will now!

By extending the main cattery in 2017 this means that the existing 5 single pens can be used exclusively for fostering. Pen number one has Paolina's 4 kittens 3 of whom are still looking for their forever homes. Pen number two has Manx's 2 kittens the all black and one tabby are sill waiting to be adopted.Pen number three has Midi nursing her 5 kittens. Pen number 4 has Paolina who will travel to her new home in Larnaca on Sunday. Lastly in pen number five are the 4 kittens from Shampooch which arrived this afternoon.If anyone would like to reserve one of the kittens please message me directly.
