At BARC, we believe in loyalty, love, and second chances values our service members know well and just like them, our rescue cats and dogs are full of heart and ready to be someone’s loyal companion. 🐾❤️

Sweet Flash Needs a New Foster Home

This is a sad post to write.

Flash, our gentle soul with the soft eyes and big heart, has been thriving in foster care—learning to trust, to love, and to just be a dog. His foster family gave him a second chance at safety and comfort, and he blossomed.

But sometimes, life throws curveballs, and through no fault of his own, Flash now needs to find a new foster home.

He doesn’t understand why things are changing again. All he knows is that he’s going back to uncertainty, and we’re determined not to let him feel lost or alone.

Flash is quiet, loving, and just wants a warm spot to rest his head and someone to remind him he’s still wanted.

Please—if you can open your home to Flash, even temporarily, you’ll be giving him the stability he so deeply needs right now.

Let’s not let him down.

From Shelter to Soulmates – Athena’s Purfect Happy Tail!

We’re thrilled to share that our lovely girl Athena has found her forever home with the kind-hearted Reigate family – and she’s made a new best friend: Amaivia!

Now lovingly called Remi by her new little human, she has truly embraced her fresh start. The two are inseparable, with Remi even joining Amaivia on adventures and becoming a cherished part of the family.

Remi has settled in beautifully and now enjoys sunny strolls to the park, side-by-side with her new best buddy. Watching her thrive, explore, and bond brings us so much joy it’s exactly what we wish for every animal in our care.

Thank you to the George, Cerys and Amaivia for giving Remi the love and life she truly deserves. Your home is now part of her happy story – and the BARC family.

Becky you were great, really informative and we appreciated you sharing your experience and knowledge with us.

We hope all who attended took away some helpful tips to assist with not only the BARC animals but your own too.
