Capturing these yummy pancakes definitely sparked a new kind of creativity in me. And what’s better than combining your two favorite things - photography and food? I loved playing with textures, colors, and a cozy breakfast vibe during this branding shoot. It reminded me how visuals can turn even the simplest moments into a full experience.

First up is our sweet Kiara. She was the first dog I captured for adoption but so far she didn’t find her forever home.

Kiara is a 5 year old female, large-sized, weighs 25 kilos. Spayed, dewormed, chipped and fully vaccinated. She is affectionate, energetic and playful. Loves taking long walks around Kabouterbos or on Koredor beach. She gets along well with other large and medium-sized dogs, but does not like small dogs or cats. She has been in foster home for 3 years and deserves her own home. Let’s help Kiara to find a lovely forever home! 🏠❤️

Hi! And welcome to Second Shot Curaçao. My name is Melanie, I’m 21 years old and a photographer. Living on the island I want to combine my love for photography and animals, and decided to help by providing fosters and shelters with professional pictures of the dogs for a hopefully larger succes rate on adoption. These pictures are free of charge, but of course donations would help to provide our fosters with food and health care too. On this page you’ll find updates and dogs that are ready to adopt.

Are you a rescue center looking for more reach, a foster in need of pictures or are you looking to adopt? Feel free to reach out! All donations will be put aside for food and healthcare costs. Will you help us help them? ✨
