EXPERT INTERNATIONAL JUDGE F.C.I. – E.N.C.I.
I was Born in Italy and precisely in Sulmona (L’Aquila), where I live and work at a large Belgian
multinational company as a Technical Manager.
I come from a family with ancient hunting traditions, which favored my approach to the dog.
The passion for the Boxer began in 1988 from the encounter with a brindle female, the movement
combined with her behavioral model triggered a strong curiosity and attraction inside me for this particular
dog breed, which impressed and influenced my life.
I have been breeding since 1990 with continuity until today.
Since 1995 I have been breeding with the Affix E.N.C.I.- F.C.I. ‘’dell’Ars Amandi’’, an affix that pays homage
to one of the greatest figures in the cultural history of the past, such as: Publio Ovidio Nasone (and his
most famous work “l'Ars Amatoria”) born in Sulmona in 43 BC.
In 2000 I began the training course to become an Expert Exhibition Judge, I was fortunate to be able to
train with Expert Judges/Breeders of undisputed preparation and competence, such as Dr. Franco Bonetti,
Prof. Raffaello Mariotti, Mario Perricone, Baron Piero Renai della Rena, just to name a few.
Since 2005 I have been judging in Italy and in various countries around the world, Breeding Championships,
Important Gatherings and Specials for the Boxer breed,
qualified to judge the most representatives breeds of Group 2.
Since 2009 Advisor to the Chieti Dog Group. Since 2013, Trainer Judge for the Boxer breed.
In 2016, Judge at the ATIBOX World Championship in Rogla (SI).
In 2016, Judge at the Midland Boxer Club Championship in Birmingham, assigning points for Cruft (UK).
In 2016 – 2019, National Delegate of the B.C.I. for liaison with the Selection Office.
In 2018, Judge at the Boxer Special - ENCI WINNER –Milan.
In 2023, Judge ENCI WINNER –Alleanza Latina- Bologna.
In 2024 Judge at the WUBOX World Championship-Tapioszentmarton (HU).
Expert Judge for the CAE-1 certification (Reliability and Mental Balance Control Test for Dogs and Owners
Good Citizens).
E.N.C.I. Speaker in ENCI Courses for the Training of new Dog Trainers and Handlers.
Still passionately and continouosly engaged in the study of the dog, in particular on the Biomechanics of movement, this study aims to analize the dog's movement in the most analytical way possible.
