Every day 😪 Every Damn Day 😡 Another sweet soul dumped just outside the shelter gates. Scared and confused, she was pacing and trying the enter the shelter. It's like she knew it would be safer inside. Better than living on the streets where she will resort to eating trash. Where she might freeze to death with winter temps around the corner. Or worse yet, end up dead on the side of the road after being struck by a truck.

It might not be beautiful and rosy inside but it is safe. It is a safe haven for dogs where every one of them is loved. Yes the one with a limp is loved. The one missing an eye is definitely loved. The one fighting a skin infestation is truly loved. Every Damn Dog is LOVED.

5 puppies dropped off late last night at the shelter...All of them are scared and completely lost

Someone threw her out in front of the shelter today too! We found her trying to enter the shelter! She was scared! I don't know what to say really! Unfortunately, I can't stop people from throwing dogs around the shelter! We put up a sign saying that we are unable to accept new dogs, but people don't care about that! I don't know how we will continue...

Good morning from the hospital! Little Leo is better! He has started to eat but he still has a long way to go! It's the end of the month and there's no way we'll make it through this month! Any help is greatly needed for Leo to have a chance to survive! I'm really desperate!

Those two puppies were dropped off at the shelter almost a week ago. Dejan rushed them immediately to the vet hospital as he could tell they were sick 💔 They've been under the care of the vet team and daily visits from Tatjana.

Sadly one of the poor little babies died of parvo today 🌈😓 but the other one is still fighting and everyone is fighting with him.

Dejan is still struggling to get the pups that contracted ehrlichia and mange all healthy again. We know you're fighting with us. Thank you. We see you. If you want to come help, please do come!

🆘️🆘️🆘️ Dejan reported there are several cases of MANGE for which he needs medicines like NexGard or Simparica Trio asap. This is a highly contagious skin disease. It is possible Mange may have entered the shelter with one of the dogs that was recently tossed over the fence with the rest of the shelter population.

🆘️🆘️🆘️ He also found several cases of EHRLICHIA for which antibiotics are also needed immediately. This is a bacterial tick-borne disease possibly due to warmer than usual weather and a more active tick population. This is a very serious illness that causes fever, bleeding and other serious conditions.

🆘️🆘️🆘️ The affected dogs have been separated to ensure these very serious conditions do not spread any further.

🆘️🆘️🆘️ Our friends are matching every donation up to $3000 from their own funds to get these poor souls treated asap and ensure the disease will not spread.
