As a family cattery, each of us gives our heart to every kitten and resident Maine C**n. The kittens learn healthy and safe play, how to trust humans and let go into a purring puddle of bliss, the rules of living in a home, and boundaries with other animals in that home.

Each kitten is smothered in love, and so supported as to bring out their unique personalities and let them shine. We LOVE what we do, and it just so happens to be exactly what kittens need to transition seamlessly and confidently into their future family's homes.

They will always be in the hearts of the Pura Vida Maine C**n Cattery family, and we feel we have found a beautiful balance of loving and letting them go.

If you've never heard a tiny kitten purring before, it sounds like the seconds hand on a clock. Every litter is different, but this litter began purring just a few minutes after birth!
They are all so easygoing, they don't mind the dog sticking her slobbery nose in the nest to check them, being held, or loud household noises.
In this litter we have 2 silver shaded males, 2 red shell males, one silver shaded female, and one silver tortie female. Al have a 2-year health guarantee and are from extensively health tested lines.
