”The Little Blue Heron”
And just as anyone also The birds fight fo Their territory. Who won? Difficult to say.
Did you know: that
A row of built-in “teeth” along the Little Blue Heron’s middle toe serves as a grooming comb. The bird uses this handy tool to scratch its head, neck, and throat. Maybe this special feature helps in battles too!?

Corcovado National Park was closed for the month of October and then reopened just for a week when it was closed again due to the weather.
As the park reopened this week the animals were excited to see the humans again.

“Lightness and Joy”
Butterflies are a symbol of transformation, rebirth, and personal growth. They also symbolize hope, freedom, lightness, joy, earthly beauty, love, and embracing what makes you unique.
Butterflies are reminding us to let go of burdens and embrace a sense of liberation.
Traveling and spending time in nature are also ways of embracing the spirit of butterflies and feel free and liberated.
Where’s your next liberating holiday taking you?
Maybe with us? To spend some time in nature?

UNFORGETTABLE NATURE EXPERIENCES
We are privileged to call this place home.
Osa Peninsula is amazing and unique place on Earth;
place where the Pacific Ocean meets the Jungle. Its Magic.
*
After living half of a decade in Europe Rodolfo had calling to return home, the place where he grew up: to the Osa Peninsula. Traveling around had given a new perspective and made him realize how precious this place is. Not only National Geography state Corcovado is one of the best perceived rain-forests in the planet it is also the most bio-diverse place on Earth. Rodolfo understood the uniqueness of this place and wanted to share his neighborhood. Rodolfo wanted to help the tourists who arrived in Osa to see this magical place, just as he had been helped during his travel years.
This is how Corcovado Hiking Tours was born: from passion to nature and wildlife and from whole hearted intention to share the magic and help tourist to get the best possible experience.
Over the years, with hard work, Rodolfo build his business and reputation as a fun, responsible, easy going and professional nature guide. Annually we take hundreds of people to the Corcovado national park and other nature adventures.
After years of managing his business successfully on his own, Rodolfo finally decided to give piece of his heart and passion and shared the story of Corcovado Hiking Tours with Inka, now his wife.
For many years, Inka traveled from Finland to the Osa Peninsula and always wondered why, until she met with Rodolfo and the rest is History.
Together they help travelers who come to Osa Peninsula to enjoy the magnificent nature and to have an unforgettable nature experience, making memories for life time. and as we say around enjoy life the fullest in each moment - Pura vida.
