When children care about animals, they care about protecting them. This means the animals themselves and their habitats! Teaching children to respect all living beings without distinction of species strengthens their sense of empathy and fosters a love for the planet and all the living beings that inhabit it. 🌎 🌱 Why love one and eat the other? 🐶 🐮 🐥 We encourage those who have access to sanctuaries or animal shelters in their area to encourage their children to form these special bonds from early on, so we may help shape the conscious adults of the future. / Cuando los niños se preocupan por los animales, se preocupan por protegerlos. ¡Esto significa proteger a los animales y sus hábitats! Enseñar a los niños a respetar a todos los seres vivos sin distinción de especies fortalece su sentido de empatía y fomenta el amor por el planeta y todos los seres vivos que lo habitan. 🌎 🌱 ¿Por qué amar a uno y comerse al otro? 🐶 🐮 🐥 Alentamos a aquellos que tienen acceso a santuarios o refugios de animales en su área a que animen a sus hijos a formar estos lazos especiales desde una edad temprana, para que podamos ayudar a formar a los adultos conscientes del futuro. 🕊

Yesterday was International Dog Day 🐾 did you spend it with your furry loved ones? Bruno spent the day “working” hard with the team at the farm (aka following them around, jumping and sniffing in the tall grass and snuggling up to the bulls) as Almendra chose between a second nap and keeping watch over the house (hey, that’s where the treats are!) 💚 they make our world a better place! / Ayer fue el Dia Internacional de los Perros 🐾 ¿también lo pasaste con tus amigos peludos? Aquí Bruno paso el dia “trabajando” duro con el equipo de la finca (o más bien siguiéndolos a todas partes, olfateando el pasto y acurrucándose con los toritos) mientras Almendra decidía si tomaba una segunda siesta o salía a vigilar el patio (hay que cuidar la casa, es ahí donde están los treats! 😋) 💚 sin duda, hacen de nuestro mundo un mejor lugar.

Since 1990, the amount of waste produced in Costa Rica has doubled, with more than 287kg of waste produced per person each year. 👉 How can we minimize our impact by adjusting our eating habits? 🤔 When we stop consuming animal products, we lower the production and transportation emissions created by transporting these products to the store. 🚚
Plant based diets usually allow us to reduce packaging waste, and encourage us to buy in bulk and offer plastic free options. Most of what we eat can be composted, too! 🍌
We firmly believe that by consuming a plant based diet, along with the flexibility of making environmentally conscious adjustments when necessary (for ex., choosing to make your own oat milk vs. store bought almond milk) is key for lowering our negative impact on the environment. 🌱 You, too, can be part of the change towards a more conscious society! Desde 1990, la cantidad de residuos producidos en Costa Rica se ha duplicado, con más de 287 kg de residuos producidos por persona cada año. 👉 ¿Cómo podemos minimizar nuestro impacto a través de nuestros hábitos alimenticios? 🤔 Cuando dejamos de consumir productos de origen animal, reducimos las emisiones de producción y transporte creados al transportar estos productos a los supermercados. 🚚
Las dietas basadas en plantas generalmente nos permiten reducir los residuos de envases, y nos animan a comprar a granel y escoger opciones libres de plástico. ¡La mayor parte de lo que comemos también puede ser compostado! 🍌
Creemos firmemente que al consumir una dieta basada en plantas, junto con la flexibilidad de hacer ajustes conscientes cuando sea necesario (por ejemplo, elegir hacer su propia leche de avena en vez de la leche de almendras comprada en la tienda) es clave para reducir nuestro impacto negativo en el medio ambiente. 🌱 ¡Tu también puedes ser parte del cambio hacia una sociedad más consciente!
