I'm from the US, came to Costa Rica in 1993 and there was no vet in the area so I went to study in San Jose with an emphasis in infectious disease, especially Ehrlichia Canis that killed my first dog I brought down here. That began my journey in vet medicine. Now I have a general practice about 13 years in Santa Teresa, and recently moved it to my property on the Pura Vida Road where I live, between Cobano and Montezuma.
