Prevention and treatment of broiler adenomyosis gastritis
Avian glandular gastritis is a disease characterized by enlarged glandular stomach, cracked musculostomach, and erosion. The clinical manifestations are poor growth, weight loss, and poor regularity. Proven gastritis in broilers often occurs clinically. Almost every batch of chickens will develop prone gastritis, and it is difficult to treat, which has brought considerable losses to the breeding industry. The disease mainly occurs in broiler chickens, especially broiler chickens less than 3 weeks old, but the disease occurs in different regions, different periods and different flocks, and the clinical symptoms are diverse. Characteristic symptoms: Chicken flocks are not evenly developed, and the younger the flocks become, the more serious they become.
1. Pathogens and triggers. Infectious factors are caused by one or several immunosuppressive viruses, such as reticuloendothelial tissue proliferation virus, reovirus, leukemia virus, Marek virus, etc.; non-infectious factors such as organisms contained in diets Amines (histamine, cadaverine, histidine, etc.), these biogenic amines have toxic effects on the body, and can cause obvious swelling and damage of the glandular stomach, muscular stomach, and intestinal tract. Mycotoxins produced after the feed becomes moldy can cause gastritis, etc., especially in summer.
2. Clinical manifestations The entire chicken flock grows unevenly and varies in size. The performance is more obvious within one week of age. Broiler chickens first occur at the age of 3 to 7 days and begin to show mental fatigue, watery diarrhea, undigested food in their f***s, and swollen abdomen of sick chickens. The body weight dropped rapidly, only 1/3 of the body weight of normal chickens. The individual was short and growth was obviously blocked. Generally, 5% to 20% of chickens in a group of chickens are infected. These chickens are only half as big or even small as the same batch of chickens at the age of 4 weeks.
3. The characteristic lesions of the dead chickens after autopsy are that the glandular stomach is enlarged and spherical, translucent, and milky white. The incision shows thickening and edema of the glandular stomach wall, and squeezing can cause serous fluid; the glandular stomach mucosa swells and thickens; The ni**le is swollen and turned, the base of the ni**le is pink, peripheral bleeding or bleeding is not obvious, and ulcers. Some ni**les are fused and the boundaries are not clear. In the later stage, the ni**le is perforated or ulcerated, and it disappears; the musculostomach is deflated, the keratinocyte of the musculature is easily peeled, and the edges are pale with cracks.
