MACAU’S ONLY REAL 24 HOURS VETERINARY HOSPITAL !
Green Cross veterinary hospital is the only Macau veterinary center that has a veterinarian always at the hospital, to look after the hospitalized animals and always available at any time to give routine/ emergency consultations.
Having a 24 hour veterinarian at the hospital is completely different from what other macau veterinary clinics are advertising as 24 H since they don’t have a vet on site at night, what they do, if there is an emergency call , they will send one of their vets to the clinic to then see the animal. THESE ARE NOT A 24 HOURS HOSPITALS, this only means these clinics have ON CALL emergency services.
These supposed 24 h hospitals that haven’t have a 24 hour vet on site, CANNOT hospitalised any sick animal!
With the introduction of the new veterinary law ( implemented last year ), only veterinary clinics that have a veterinary Doctor 24 hours ON SITE can keep animals hospitalized.
This makes sense if you think about it , how can a sick animal be monitored in a hospital without a vet. Sick animals need overseeing and monitored by a veterinary doctor, not just an assistant or veterinary nurse.
Unfortunately, we are 8 months since the implementation of the new law and GREEN CROSS is the only clinic that follows the rules by the book and by doing it so, provides the proper care that an hospitalised animal deserves.
Any veterinary clinic that hospitalises an animal without having a 24 h veterinary ON Site is breaking the law and should be reported to the authorities.
To all animal owners be aware of this situation, and lets make macau a better and safer place for our animals and elevate the veterinary industry in Macau.

澳門唯一真正24小時獸醫醫院
綠十字獸醫醫院是澳門唯一一間有獸醫24小時在院，隨時監護住院動物並即時提供常規診療與急診服務的獸醫中心。
在澳門，有24小時獸醫在院駐守的醫院與那些只聲稱提供“24小時”急診但無獸醫留守的診所截然不同；後者在夜間沒有獸醫在場，只有在接到緊急呼叫時，才會有獸醫過去。這並非真正的24小時醫院，而只是有隨叫隨到的急診服務。
這些“24小時”醫院，由於沒有24小時現場獸醫，根據去年實施的新獸醫法，是不能收容任何生病動物 。這說得通，想想看，沒有獸醫監督和監測，怎麼能監護生病動物？
不幸的是，新法規實施8個月後，綠十字是唯一嚴格遵守法規、並為住院動物提供應有的全天照顧的醫院。
任何沒有24小時駐場獸醫就收容動物住院的獸醫或診所，都違反了法律，應向有關部門報告。
呼籲所有寵物主人請注意這種情況，讓我們為澳門動物創造一個更美好、更安全的獸醫醫療環境。
