One cat or ten, AI-Tails knows who’s eating, and how they’re doing.

This smart cat feeder uses facial recognition to log every bowl visit to the right cat, even when two cats show up at once. Every visit also builds a health picture over time. AI-Tails tracks feeding patterns, hydration, and temperature per cat, and monitors using the Feline Grimace Scale, so you can catch changes in appetite or comfort early.

One station covers a feeding zone comfortably for 1 to 3 cats. Add AI-Tails Hydrate if your cats prefer water away from their food. Want a spot for wet food too? Use both bowls on AI-Tails One for food and let Hydrate handle water on its own.

Managing a bigger multi-cat household? Add one station per feeding zone. Each one links up in the app, giving you clean, separate health and feeding data per cat, no matter how many you’re tracking.

Everything processes locally. No video stored.

It’s here. AI-Tails One is officially live on Kickstarter. 🎉

We built AI-Tails to solve a problem every cat parent knows: cats are experts at hiding when something’s wrong. AI-Tails One uses facial recognition to build a profile for each cat in your home, then quietly keeps watch, tracking expression cues, temperature, food intake, and hydration, so you catch the small stuff before it becomes a vet visit too late.

Pain isn’t always loud. Sometimes, cats go quiet.

Changes in eating, drinking, grooming, movement or behaviour can be early signs that something is wrong.

AI-Tails monitors your cat’s daily habits and subtle health signals, helping you notice meaningful changes sooner.

Because they cannot tell you when something hurts.

AI-Tails is coming to Kickstarter. Link in Bio.

Your cat’s health, right in your pocket.

The AI-Tails One Smart Feeding Station tracks everything while your cat eats and drinks, using facial recognition to identify them and monitor nutrition, hydration, temperature, and pain cues mapped to the Feline Grimace Scale. Every visit gets logged automatically, no extra work from you.

Open the app and see it all in one place. A Feline Health Index score, an AI Insight summary explaining what’s changed, and a full history you can check anytime, from anywhere.

The feeding station does the watching. The app does the telling. And if anything is wrong you can take all this data to your vet.

On Kickstarter very soon.

Not just another gadget. Every feature on AI-Tails was tested against real feline behaviour and refined alongside vets, so it works the way cats actually live. Designed and engineered in Switzerland, where precision isn’t a buzzword, it’s the standard.

5 pain signs most cat owners miss.
These are not dramatic. That’s the point.

1. Eating less, even slightly
2. Avoiding favourite spots or stopping jumping
3. Over-grooming one area, or grooming less overall
4. More vocalisation when touched, or unusual silence
5. Narrowed eyes, tense cheeks, shifted ear position

Dr. Vanessa Heitzmann (VetSuisse, UZH) walks through each one. None of them scream “emergency.” All of them are worth paying attention to.

If something feels off, document it and go to the Vet. One unnecessary vet visit costs much less than a late diagnosis.

Vets don’t guess when assessing pain in cats. They use validated scoring systems built specifically for feline patients.

Dr. Vanessa Heitzmann explains how multi-modal scales work: mood, posture, facial expression, and response to touch, each scored and combined into a value that guides treatment decisions.

You can’t replicate a clinical assessment at home. But you can track changes in how your cat holds themself, where they rest, and how they react when you touch them. That information matters more than most owners realise.

Bring it to your vet. It gives them a head start.
