As we plan the rest of the year, we have limited spots available for breaking in and further training.
Breaking in process involves all aspects of a young horses foundation. Further Training focuses on developing a horses education specific to their needs and owners plans for their future
Groundwork focus:
•Understanding and thinking through pressure
•Developing a willing mind and confidence
•Travelling balanced and relaxed
Breaking process:
•Introduction to tack
•Mouthing and driving
•Proper preparation to being ridden
•Basic dry work and outside miles
•Starting on the flag can be discussed
Further Training:
•Dry work
•Stength and Conditioning
•Flag work
•Ridden miles and feedlot work can be discussed
Josh has had the opportunity to work for and observe some of Australia's most experienced and accomplished cowhorse trainers. His passion for horses is what brought him to Australia. His drive and commitment is what motivates him to continue to learn and grow.
"I believe in good horsemanship. I've observed different styles and methods over the years but what is most important is that the horse is safe to ride, of sound mind and confident to go where you lead them."
Holly holds some of the highest Equestrian Australia qualifications in the country. With over 20 years of riding and competition experience both in Australia and the UK, she has consistently achieved success in the show ring. When it comes to dedication to a horses welfare and development, Hollys results speak for themselves.
We believe in providing horses with the best education we can offer and establishing solid foundations.
