The devastating floods in Bali have shone a light on what rescuers face every single day: an island overwhelmed with animals in need. There are an estimated 700,000 stray dogs and 2,000 dogs stuck in shelters. The truth is, we cannot rescue our way out of this crisis.

That’s why we created The Pack Challenge.

In the next 3 months, we need 1,000 compassionate animal lovers to pledge just $25 a month. Together, this will give us the resources to:

• Sterilise and vaccinate dogs and cats (the only way to stop disease, rabies, and endless suffering).

Anyone who has seen Eta Kadek's heartwrenching videos of her flooded shelter wants to help, Mission Paws'ible included.

After reaching out to Eta, who confirmed that she needed immediate assistance to evacuate her dogs, we started coordinating and then went straight to help.

Before we arrived, the incredible Inu Neko Vet and handfuls of selfless volunteers had already moved dozens and dozens of dogs to the clinic for safekeeping. Dogville also agreed to house all of the 100+ dogs from Eta's flooded shelter, and arrived at the scene to help move the remaining dogs directly to Dogville. One of Eta's full-time staff also joined the dogs to reassure them.

All of Eta's surviving dogs are safe. They are either at Dogville or at Inu Neko Vet and will join their pack at Dogville as soon as transportation is coordinated.

We have launched an emergency response to fund today's evacuation, provide immediate food supplies, and fund temporary housing while the flood-damaged shelters are repaired.

It's raining again in Bali, but if the weather allows, the arduous task of pumping out the water from Eta's shelter will begin tomorrow.

To everyone who came today, your support, compassion and hands-on action have been nothing short of heroic in the most challenging of circumstances.

To everyone who wants to help, please consider a donation. Every donation will be carefully dispersed by Mission Paws’ible, with funds going directly to cover receipts from suppliers to ensure transparency and impact where it’s needed most. This is a crisis, and the animals and the people fighting for them cannot wait.

$25 CAN STOP THE SUFFERING OF 67,000 DOGS 🐕

Sterilisation days give us hope.

In August, we sterilised 36 animals, bringing us to a total of 374 animals sterilised and 203 animals rabies vaccinated this year! 💪🏽

Every dog sterilised isn’t just one life changed, it’s thousands of futures rewritten. No more endless litters born to suffer on the streets. No more dogs dumped, neglected, or abused. No more rabies spreading through bites.

It also means quieter nights without packs fighting, fewer traffic accidents, safer streets for families, and healthier communities.

This is prevention. This is impact. This is the only way forward in a country where free-roaming dogs are the norm and strays outnumber safe homes.

THE DOG THAT STARTED IT ALL

This is Twiggy.

In 2017, she was a walking skeleton on the streets of Bali. I scooped her up, held her tight, and promised her she wouldn’t die in vain.

Twiggy didn’t make it, but her legacy did. She was the spark behind Mission Paws’ible, the reason we built The Healing Centre, the reason we support local rescuers, and the reason hundreds of dogs have found safety and love.

However, Twiggy’s story continues to unfold every single day. For every dog saved, many more are suffering in silence. Rescue alone isn’t enough, we need to stop the suffering at the source.

That’s why on 1st September we launch The Pack Challenge.

One mission.
One community.
One goal:
To fund sterilisation, vaccination, and education programs that will end disease, rabies, and the endless cycle of abandonment.

We need 1,000 people to donate $25 a month. That’s it.

Together, we can spark a rescue revolution, one Twiggy never got to see, but one she inspired.
