Vinny and Iris presented the Spirit Award in memory of their grandmother, Colette Cottreau. The award was given to the dog (or dogs) they felt best embodied the spirit of the day!

On Saturday, the award was presented to Witch, owned by Ashley McGuinness.

On Sunday, the award went to the Shelties (Perk, Haven, Spicy Chai, Vandal, and Kai) owned by Brenda Juskow.

What a weekend! WOW!! Our first official CKC Sprinter trial was a big success! We hope you all had as much fun as we did 🥳🐾

We couldn’t have done it without the help of our volunteers and East Coast Sighthound Association.

Our first Nova West Kennel Club Sprinter was a huge success! We completed over 100 runs, many dogs earned new titles, and from all reports, everyone had fun. The weather was perfect, the equipment worked well, the volunteers were super efficient, and the dogs ran their best.
Everyone went home with the best dog!
Thank you to everyone who entered! Please come back again next year!

We’re SO excited to be hosting our first official Sprinter trial this coming weekend, July 12 & 13! 🎉🐾

Sprinter is a fast paced, 100m dash where dogs race as fast as they can after a lure. It’s so much fun!

We’re inviting everyone to come out and watch to see what it’s all about. Please leave your own dogs at home unless you are entered, and be mindful around competing teams.

It’s going to be a very exciting weekend and we can’t wait to see you! 🥳
