🐾🎀 Virtual 50K Dog Walk for Victoria – Support Her Breast Cancer Journey 🎀🐾

Hi everyone,

My name is Crystal McIndoo, and we’re coming together to support Victoria Yacks, who is currently facing stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer. To help with treatment and recovery costs, we’re hosting a Virtual 50K Dog Walk Fundraiser - so you can participate from anywhere on your own time, as well as a 50/50 Fundraiser. The reason for the 50KM Dog Walk Fundraiser is because of her love for animals and because it's part of what she does as a dog walker.

💗 How it works:
- Walk 50K with your dog (or just yourself!) anytime during the event period and help raise funds through sponsorships or donations.
- 50/50 tickets can be purchased through me on Facebook.

📅 Event Dates: 50KM Dog Walk will be for the full month of May, 2026
📍 Location: Anywhere—your neighborhood, trails, or treadmill

🐶 Dogs are welcome but not required!

💵 Ways to support:
• Sponsor a participant (any amount helps)
• Make a direct donation
• Join the walk and share your progress/photos

All proceeds will go directly toward Victoria's breast cancer treatment and care.

We want to share an important update about our journey and service availability. Due to a medical emergency with the owner, Victoria, we’ll have fewer service days available leading up to the beginning of June 2026. This situation deeply affects us, as we're passionate about being there for your pets. We're working hard to manage commitments while prioritizing both pet care and personal health. We sincerely apologize if we cannot meet some commitments during this time, as this is a small family business. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued trust during this challenging time. Your support means the world as we navigate this chapter together.

Are you a local business with a heart for community? We're forging partnerships with like-minded businesses to make a fundraiser possible, empowering our family's courageous journey as I prepare for breast cancer treatment. This pivotal event will provide vital support, alleviating medical expenses, childcare costs, groceries, gas, and household bills, as my husband, a dedicated transport driver, will be taking time off to care for me during my recovery from surgery. As the primary caregiver for our three young children (Jamie - 12, AJ - 6 & Isabella - 5), I know that community support can uplift us in profound ways. Our children are eager to contribute to their mother's recovery and have suggested a 5KM walk with your dog fundraiser, a wonderful opportunity for community unity, and we would be honored by your participation.

I am posting to inform you that due to a recent diagnosis of breast cancer and forthcoming treatment, Pets & Pads will be reducing operations for the remainder of the year.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as I focus on my health and treatment plan, with the goal of returning to care for your pets as soon as possible.

🚨 There will be a price increase in the new year!

I appreciate all my loyal clients and you allowing me to care for your fur babies. The bonds I’ve built with your pets mean everything to me! I love all your fur babies and hope you understand how prices go up for gear, gas, treats, ect as everything else does year to year!

I try not to raise my prices, but for 2026 they will be raised but it will not be a big jump!
