Merry Christmas from all of us here at Iron Horse. Thank you to all of our furry friends and their families for their support over this challenging year. We are all looking forward to 2021!

We will remain open with regular hours during the coming lock down. We are here if you need us!

Everyone has probably noticed the fantastic pumpkins in the fall portrait session and those for sale at the front of the kennel. As some of you know my father, owner of Northwinds Farm in Dalston, passed away suddenly in June. My mother finished off the farming season and harvested one last crop of his prized pumpkins. With the store closing on the 31st my mom, Clifford the dog, and the giant rooster will officially be retiring from farming and joining us here at Iron Horse!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my great staff for all of their help. They have all done a great job and put my mind at ease when I have had to step away. They have also helped my mother at the farm, pumpkin weeding and harvesting produce when needed! I don't know what I would have done without them.

I would also like to thank all of you for your continued support through this summer. Though I am here everyday working and have thoroughly enjoyed all of the new puppies that have joined us, I still have to introduce myself to some of our newer customers, and catch up with everyone else!

As for the pumpkins... they will be available for the rest of this week to anyone who wants one for Halloween weekend!

We have had many requests for copies of photos from the fall photo sessions. After discussing with staff and our fantastic photography crew we have decided to set up a jar at the kennel for donations to the Farley Foundation. There will be a form next to it for you to record your name and email address and we will forward high res photos directly to your email account! And don't worry..... if you haven't seen your pet yet, we are still working away at getting everyone done!

Over the next few weeks we are attempting....weather permitting.....to catch our regulars for fall photos. With the help of my sister (RGullett photography), Christine Adams, and staff I hope to get everyone. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Iron Horse!
