Whispering Acres Golden Retrievers

Whispering Acres Golden Retrievers We are a country based small kennel located on our farmland just outside of Embro On, Canada. At Whispering Acres we aim to give our dogs a long and happy life.

All our dogs are first and foremost our pets and part of the family. We have a litter of puppies from time to time so we may add to our own 'family' and to share our Golden's with others. Our dogs and the puppies we breed represent the whole range of shades of gold which the Breed Standard allows, from cream to deep golden. They make excellent companions and thrive in a family environment making lovely pets.

Zoey's Litter Update: What to Expect as They Grow

As you can observe, this litter, being the youngest, is the largest among all the litters. This is because the mother only has to feed 2 puppies instead of 9, providing both puppies with much more milk. The dark puppy in this litter is the male, and he will be going to Newfoundland. The female is an English cream golden retriever. Their second open house will be this Saturday from 9 am to noon. The Sophie Litter update

This litter visually represents all our golden retriever lines, including both the English cream and the American golden. It's the most active among our three litters and continues to grow. They have a hearty appetite and never seem to get enough food. This litter enjoys playing frequently and moves quickly. They are eager for this weekend's open house to meet their new families.

Sasha's English cream litter update

This litter of English Cream Golden Retrievers is rarer than American Golden Retrievers. When walking or traveling around town, you don't often see this color. They typically grow larger, with bigger paws and heads. This litter is developing well and has found their footing. They enjoy playing outside on nice weather days. CKC Zoey Litter update

This litter only having 2 puppies has grown really fast due to all of moms milk for them only. They are a week younger than the other 2 litters and as a result move less than the older puppies. The female puppy is an English cream while the male is an American Golden male. They too will meet their families at the Meet the Puppies open house the next two Saturdays from 9am till noon.

CKC Sophie Litter update

Well as you can see the CKC Sophie x AKC Rusty litter has really grown. They now eat 4 strong paws puppy food along with moms milk. Notice the mix of colour from the American golden to the English cream. This litter over the next 2 weekends will meet their future families. They all have waited a long time to actually go outside and play due to all the miserable weather we have had.

CKC Sasha Litter

This litter as all will see is all an English cream colour. This litter too has started to eat 4 Strong Paws puppy food. They move quickly and love playing. Excited to see the sun again they enjoyed their play day and slept very little. On the next two weekends they too will meet their future families. Indeed a good time ahead for all of them.

CKC Sasha Litter update

This is an English cream litter. Born on April 23rd, they are now 3 weeks old. Their eyes are open, and they have started to explore as far as their paws will take them. Mom and all are doing great with no concerns. The "Meet the Puppies" open house for this litter is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th, or June 6th, anytime between 9 am and noon, for their prospective new families. This litter will go to their new homes on Saturday, June 20th. They finally have a playdate outside, as the weather was not cooperating with their wishes.

CKC Sophie Litter update

Sophie and Rusty's litter was born on April 23 and is growing rapidly. At this point, the mother has plenty of milk for all the puppies. With their eyes now open, they are beginning to try walking, though it will take some time. This litter features the American golden coloring, as you can see. All are doing well.
