Whispering Acres Golden Retrievers We are a country based small kennel located on our farmland just outside of Embro On, Canada. At Whispering Acres we aim to give our dogs a long and happy life.

All our dogs are first and foremost our pets and part of the family. We have a litter of puppies from time to time so we may add to our own 'family' and to share our Golden's with others. Our dogs and the puppies we breed represent the whole range of shades of gold which the Breed Standard allows, from cream to deep golden. They make excellent companions and thrive in a family environment making lovely pets.

The first puppy from our spring litters flew to Newfoundland today. Another one will soon accompany him. Enjoy your life on the Rock!

Today, Ellie departed from Ontario on her way to her forever home in Newfoundland. We are thrilled for this family, who now have two of our puppies. They now own an English cream and a dark American golden retriever. Enjoy her and thank you Ellie for the time we all spent with you.

CKC Sasha litter week 7 update

Enjoying this wonderful weather once again. This litter loves their daily outings, and here’s a glimpse of their day today. They are now eating dry 4 Strong Paws puppy food in addition to their mother's milk. This will be their final week at Whispering Acres as their time here is nearly over. Last hugs and kisses are being shared as they prepare to move to their new family homes. This week will be busy with vet appointments, micro chipping, deworming, and many other tasks that need to be completed before their big day. Next week, they would like you all to meet their new families in their final blog post.

CKC Sophie litter update

Soon, it will be time to go home. Bags are packed, farewells have been exchanged, and hugs and kisses have been given. Now, they're saving all of that affection for their new families next week. Everyone at Whispering Acres will miss them dearly. We hope all the families have purchased their 4 Strong Paws puppy food and the NuVet immunity boost in preparation for their arrival. We also advise bringing a blanket for scenting. Health reports for all litters will be published on our blog this week. This litter's new life is about to begin, and they can't wait.

CKC Zoey Litter update

This is our youngest litter, yet they are the heaviest we've had. One is an American golden retriever, and the other is an English golden retriever in color. Today, they enjoyed the cornfield, providing us with many fantastic photos. The dark male in the picture will soon be heading to Newfoundland, as is one puppy from the CKC Sophie litter. Nowadays, most puppies travel as carry-on with Porter Airlines. We've been fortunate to have such great weather, allowing these litters plenty of outdoor playtime. Soon, they'll proudly introduce their families to all of you.

Zoey's Litter Update: What to Expect as They Grow

As you can observe, this litter, being the youngest, is the largest among all the litters. This is because the mother only has to feed 2 puppies instead of 9, providing both puppies with much more milk. The dark puppy in this litter is the male, and he will be going to Newfoundland. The female is an English cream golden retriever. Their second open house will be this Saturday from 9 am to noon. The Sophie Litter update

This litter visually represents all our golden retriever lines, including both the English cream and the American golden. It's the most active among our three litters and continues to grow. They have a hearty appetite and never seem to get enough food. This litter enjoys playing frequently and moves quickly. They are eager for this weekend's open house to meet their new families.

Sasha's English cream litter update

This litter of English Cream Golden Retrievers is rarer than American Golden Retrievers. When walking or traveling around town, you don't often see this color. They typically grow larger, with bigger paws and heads. This litter is developing well and has found their footing. They enjoy playing outside on nice weather days.
