We’re excited to be part of the Ontario Pork Congress International & Local Farm Workers Educational Event on June 17 & 18, 2026!

This multilingual educational event is designed to support and celebrate the people who care for our pigs every day. Sessions will be offered in English, Spanish, and Tagalog, focusing on practical piglet care, networking, and connecting workers with industry resources.

We are especially proud to have Dr. Ana Maria Ayala and Gino Cruz representing Demeter Veterinary Services during the presentations.

In April, SVP Veterinarians Dr. Claire Su, Dr. Stephen Frazer, Dr. Conor Voth and Dr. Svetlana Ponsin participated in the Disease Eradication and Elimination in Swine Farms course in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC hosted by the World Veterinary Education in Production Animal Health (WVEPAH).

A huge thank you to the outstanding presenters - Dr Clayton Johnson, Dr. Paul Yeske, and our very own Dr. Luc Dufresne - for sharing their expertise and teaching us so many practical tips!
