On October 5th, 2025 join us for the first stop on the CWHBA Ontario Chapter Inspection Tour — hosted by Jackie Vandenbrink at Vandenbrink Warmbloods

📍 Vandenbrink Warmbloods
4376 Second Concession Rd, Sherkston Ontario

Mare Inspections: Essential for breeding approval, open to mares 2 years and older. Current CWHBA members can apply for evaluation to enter Mare Books and potentially receive premium scores.

Foal Futurity Class: Open to 2025 Canadian Warmblood registered foals sired by stallions from the 2024 SSA. Prize money awarded!
*Combined Futurity awards will be calculated across this event and our October 26th show at Sprucehaven Farm.*

Open Classes: For all warmbloods registered with a recognized breed registry. Separate judging for open division!

High Point Awards: Points earned here count toward tour high point awards, combined between both stops!

Young Horse Evaluations Under Saddle: For horses aged 3–5, scored for dressage or jumper prospects.

Show Off Your 2025 Foal!
The CWHBA Foal Photo Contest is open now through October 1, 2025, and we want to see your best shots!

Enter your 2025 CWHBA-eligible foal for a chance to win in one of three fun categories:
• Artistic Merit
• Action-Packed Moment
• Humour / Unusual Antics

This year’s winners will be chosen by members of our Young Breeders Program!

Perks for entering:
Foals registered in the CWHBA studbook within one month of entering the contest receive 10% off their registration fee!

How to Enter:
1. Submit via the online form on our website
2. Post on Instagram or Facebook using — be sure to include:
• Breeder name (farm name if applicable)
• Foal gender, DOB, and name (if available)
• Sire, Dam, Dam Sire
• Photo credit
• Caption (optional)
3. Post in the Friends of Canadian Warmblood Facebook group with the same info

Photos accepted until October 30 and will be displayed in our online gallery.

Bidding will resume today, October 22nd, at 12:00 PM MST, on the lot we left off at, which is Lot #8. Bidding will start closing at 7:00 PM MST tonight. Again, this is a staggered close so the countdown on the lots is accurate on the auction site. Here is your second chance to find your next Champion! 🏆
