Spirit of Hope Rescue

Spirit of Hope Rescue We are a volunteer run, foster based, non profit dog rescue that runs a low cost vaccination, spay/neuter, and food program for Indigenous communities.

SOHR was started in January of 2012 by Director Cathie Mieyette as a promise to herself that if she was to survive what was then a life saving stem cell transplant, she would start a rescue to assist First Nations communities with the overpopulation of dogs. Cathie is a four time cancer survivor. Since 2012, Cathie and her team at SOHR has rescued more than 4000 dogs.

❤️Drop by Champlain Community Club 282 Niverville Ave (St.Boniface) from 11-2 bring your family and come meet Mocha and Rex they are up for adoption.

❤️Mocha is 4 1:2 month old pup she is a sweet and eager to please young pup. She would do amazing in training classes and her focus while learning is fantastic!

❤️She is house and crate trained and learns tricks in minutes. So far she has mastered sit, shake and paw, lay down and sometimes come 😉

❤️Mocha loves to play with foster sister and enjoys a game of chase. She also loves to be outside and can amuse herself while you are busy.

❤️

Mocha is very respectful in the house and as long as she has toys and maybe a bone or two she is nondestructive. She loves children and water!

❤️Mocha will make an amazing fur family member! Snuggly at times, playful at times, and always loving

❤️❤️ Rex is a sweet 3 month old puppy with a great personality. He loves toys and his dog bed!

❤️❤️ Rex loves to go play outside and he is working on his house training!

❤️❤️Rex can entertain himself in his Xpen area playing with his toys or just chilling or sleeping!

❤️❤️Rex is learning to walk on a leash!

❤️❤️ Rex knows how to sit and come!

❤️❤️ Rex is in a foster home with 2 small dogs and he’s been with kids and he’s great

❤️ Millie is being returned due to no fault of her own the other resident dog doesn’t like her and we don’t want Millie to get hurt so she will look for a new home❤️

❤️ Millie is a chi x and is under 25 lbs and is going to be 5 yrs old soon she is spayed and up to date on vaccines!
❤️Millie is sweet, affectionate and playful. She is housetrained and walks great on a leash! She loves people and loves to hang out with people inside or out.
❤️ Millie graduated from obedience classes and loves her treats! She loves belly ribs and is a lil comic! Hasn’t been around cats!
