I hope he knows how much we love him. I hope he felt my arms wrapped around him, holding him tightly, protecting him the way he always protected me as he took his final breath. I hope he knows how much we fought for him, how far we went because to us he wasn’t just a dog; he was our best friend, our spirit, our laughter and our soul. I hope he knows his memory will be eternally woven into our hearts. You knew all my secrets, all of my fears and everything that lived in my heart. I’ll miss everything about you.
