The Dog pool, Manitoba's place for people to bring their dogs to swim in a safe and fun environment.

This Dog pool has been a labour of love for owner Megan, she has poured her heart and soul into this pool for Manitoba dogs to enjoy the sport of dock diving. She has been working to open the pool after a very late spring; the pool was laid out and was getting ready for the season. New repairs and parts work was done and the water started being added. The wind storm caught the pool and bent and folded the pool over the dock. All the support poles, pumps and plumbing have been destroyed, and the pool liner ripped. The season was about to begin and all of Megan's hard work and dreams for a fun dock season have been crushed. She is emotionally and financially crushed by this. Let's come together as a great dog community and support the pool, so we can still enjoy a great season.

Special Weather Statement - March 21st, 2022:

A mix of rain and snow, with potentially significant amounts, is on tap for the Red River Valley eastward to the Ontario border.

A low pressure system is forecast to move into southern Manitoba Monday and Tuesday, bringing rain and snow with it. As the system moves eastward, precipitation will begin as rain but will change over to snow from west to east. The timing of this rain-to-snow changeover is highly uncertain, so rainfall and snowfall amounts are also highly uncertain. What is more certain is that 15 to 25 mm of liquid is likely to fall over the Red River Valley and points east.

Current indications are that areas near and east of Winnipeg will receive 5-10 mm of rain and 10-15 cm of snow, while points west of the city will receive lesser amounts of both.

Precipitation is expected to move out of the region Tuesday evening.
