Our Story

Woofs ‘n Wags dog daycare, Spaw, sleepover service, and K9 education center. Our philosophy is to create relationships, build trust, and have fun with your best friend. Applying positive reinforcement, consistency and learning to communicate with dogs spearheads our understanding of dogs. We are Winnipeg’s first and daycare offering “Naked Dog Daycare”. This means no aversives are worn or used in our facilities. This includes collars, leads, muzzles, tethers, using spray bottles etc. We focus on building connections with each of our visitors based on love and trust. ----------------------------- Grooming, our exclusive Dog Spaw combines patience and expertise to create and promote an environment that caters to each dogs unique individual grooming needs. (Offered at both locations). Our Salon caters to any of your dogs needs. Services available: *Full Grooming *Relaxation Techniques *DeShedding Treatments *Hot Oil Treatments *Pawdicures and Paw Treatments *Face, Paw, and Bum Tidies **Extras always include patience, understanding, massage and loves! -------------------------- Woofs n’ Wags obedience classes start from puppy to the more advanced. Our goal in training is to establish a respectful and trusting relationship to teach the dogs to be relaxed and to pay attention to their handlers. (Offered at St. Annes location with our K9 Behaviourist) Class Sizes: We keep our size of classes small. Each class has 5 dog/handler teams. Our Classes: Level 1 “Making the Connection” Our Intro classes include body handling, impulse control, sits, downs, stays, connecting exercises and intro to heel. This level has 2 different entry-level classes dependent on the age of your pet. The classes include: Puppy class This is a seven week program for puppies under the age of 7 months. Beginner class This is a 6 week program for puppies/adult dogs over the age of 7 months Level 2 “Realistic Training” No more puppy and beginner stuff. We have laid the foundation and now we push our puppies and beginners forward. Focus is on realistic heeling, control, stays and manners. Level 3” Continuing Education & Intro To Sports” In this level our dog/handler teams continue to refine their obedience skills. This level also has a brief introduction to clicker training, off leash exercises, tricks, agility and Rally O.

Sleepover Service:

Our visitors are supervised for the entire duration of their stay in a kennel free environment (unless requested). They will stay with their aunties, uncles, and best friends for a day of play, and then a puppy pajama pawty at night! (Offered at our Donald location).
