May 1, 2026 — We enter Keiko’s month 🤍

This one is for her.

Keiko turns 12 this month!
And if there’s anything, she’s taught me resilience, patience and grace in starting over again.

When I adopted Keiko in 2020, she was obese and needed help.
We helped her lose 15lbs to ger back to a healthy weight.

But a few weeks before turning 11 last year, everything changed.

She suddenly lost her vision due to SARDS. Her hearing has always been bad too and she is now showing signs of dementia. We were terrified as initial diagnosis was brain tumour and we cannot bear the thought of that. Not our baby!

Fast forward to this year…
After a year of wondering if we can ever go back to the dog park again. Or if we will ever be able to enjoy the outdoors without the stroller, we learned how to walk outside on a leash again! We built trust and she finally gained the confidence to walk again🥹

A small moment for some, but a crazy huge milestone for us.

That’s the thing. We love them even when it is difficult.

We love them in the way we guide them, the way we adjust for them.
The way we choose better for them, over and over again.

And that’s exactly how our new product was created.
