Hi Friends!!

Check me out! 🐈‍⬛ My name is Bam Bam and I was born July 4th, which is very fitting because they tell me I am a firecracker! 💥
I’ve been here at the clinic for a few weeks and I am ready to find my new home. I have A LOT of energy and need a new space to explore. Since I’m a kitten I like to chase anything that moves, climb whatever I can, and inspect everything I see. I won’t always have this much energy but for now, I need a family who is patient and will play with me and teach me how to be a house cat. The staff here at Central Animal Hospital are soooo great but they’re very busy taking care of all their patients so I have to stay in a cage sometimes. I love playing with toys and I even like other animals. I try to play with Pebbles the clinic cat but I’m too much cat for her to handle. I like small dogs too! I’ve never met a large dog but if they’re friendly, I’ll likely play with them as well. 🐩 🐕
Do you think you could be the family for me?? I come with my first 2 sets of vaccines and I have been neutered and dewormed. There is an adoption fee but you can talk to the ladies at the clinic about that.
Please call the clinic if you have any questions !!

~ ADOPTED ~

Hi Everyone! My name is Alvin and I’m 6 months old. Not that long ago, I was found roaming around outside with my siblings. Fortunately for us, a nice couple scooped us up and brought us to Central Animal Hospital to try and find our fur ever homes. And now I’m the only one left! If you love lots of cuddles and some kisses, I’d be the perfect pet for your home. I am vaccinated and neutered. If you think that you are the family for me, please contact the clinic to set up a time to meet! 😊

~ ADOPTED ~

Hello! Our names are Bongo (orange male) and Whiskey (tabby female) and we are looking for our new forever home. We are very friendly, slightly chunky (more to love tho) 3 year olds who’s owner unfortunately could not take care of us anymore. We can’t be without each other so we will have to go to the same home. We are both neutered/spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in adopting us please contact the clinic and we can set up a time to meet.

Hi Folks! My name is Binx! Up until a few weeks ago, I was living life as a barn cat. I know there is a lot of stigma around barn cats, but let me tell you, I am one clean, handsome boy! A kind stranger started feeding me and eventually managed to trap me. I was brought to Central Animal Hospital where they cleaned me up and neutered me. I’m a little embarrassed to be telling you all that but they said it’s for my own good. I’ve been enjoying my time here but would really like to find a home of my own, where I can spend my afternoons sprawled on a comfy couch in the sun! They think that I am somewhere between 1.5-2yrs old and honestly, I never kept track. I am very food motivated and enjoy having my chin scratched. I think a quiet home would suit me best as I’m not very familiar with many household noises, or lots of people just yet.
If you think you are the home for me, please contact the clinic and we can set up a time to meet. I hope to be meeting some nice people real soon!!

*********UPDATED!!!!***********
Thank you to everyone who shared our post! Buttercup has found a wonderful new home where she will be the Queen of the castle! 💜

Hello!! My name is Buttercup and I’m looking for my perfect forever home!! 🏡 I was recently dumped in a neighbourhood and was feeling pretty alone and scared! A very kind woman started taking care of me and feeding me, but was worried that I might be pregnant because I had a bit of a pudgy belly. The nice people at Central Animal Hospital offered to take me in and keep me warm and fed while we waited to figure out if I was a momma-to-be (or just a fan of snacks!). Turns out, I’m just a curvaceous cuddly cat with a little junk in the trunk 😉. Now that I made it through that pregnancy scare and have sworn off men for life, I’m ready to focus on me and my needs! This is where all you lovely people come in ... I need a home!! A nice warm home, with nice friendly people! I love people!! I love being petted, and rubbed, and scratched!! I’m pretty curious about other cats, and even dogs, and could probably live very peacefully with either! The staff here at the clinic keep telling me how friendly I am, and how beautiful I am too. Did you see my pics?? Check out those markings!! They keep saying that they think I’m around 2 years old but I know it’s hard for them to tell, and frankly, I’m not saying a word! A lady never reveals her age! 🤫
So if you are looking for a great gal like me, call the clinic and we can set up a time to meet. I must warn you, the staff here are like protective older brothers, and they are going to ensure I go to a home where I’ll be treated like the Queen 👑 that I am! 💜

Dear Valued Clients,

Due to the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in our area, we have made a few additional changes in our hospital. Our goal is to maintain the health and safety of our clients, patients, and our staff. We have already reduced the number of routine services that we will be performing and are currently no longer offering boarding, grooming, or nail trims.

Also, in an effort to limit the traffic within our building, we are allowing only one person to accompany a pet to an appointment. We will ask that you remain in the waiting room while we take your pet and perform the required service. If you feel more comfortable staying outside, we will come out and get your pet from you. When you call to book your appointment these options will be discussed. If you choose to remain outside, we do offer payment over the phone.

We are doing our best to provide a safe and clean environment for our clients and we are routinely disinfecting all areas.
Our hours are temporarily changing for the next few weeks as we navigate through this virus. We will be open as follows:
Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 9am-12pm

We appreciate all of your support and cooperation! Don’t hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. 😀

Dear Valued Clients,

As we navigate through the current COVID-19 crisis and increasing business closures, we want to assure you that for the time being, our office will remain open. We are a small but dedicated staff and our goal is to not only ensure our clients health and safety, but ours as well, so that we will be able to care for all our patients. We will be instituting some changes in how we operate our hospital in order to keep everyone safe.

1. If you have been travelling, or live with someone that has been travelling, or exhibit any of the following symptoms:
-cough
-fever
-shortness of breath
We ask that you do not enter our building.

2. All appointments should be booked over the phone, no walk ins. All food and prescription refills should be called in ahead of time.

3. Only one healthy adult person should accompany the pet to an appointment. We will be minimizing the traffic in our waiting room (due to the World Health Organizations recommendations of social distancing), for everyone’s safety.

4. We will be limiting the number of routine services that we perform. We want to ensure that we are available for any sick or emergency patients that require our assistance.

5. We will not be booking pets for boarding or grooming for the next few weeks.

**We are more than willing to do “curb side” appts or drop offs. Simply call the office when you arrive for an appt or to pick up food/medication (that has been pre-ordered) and we will meet you at your vehicle/front door. Payments can be made over the phone while you wait!

To help keep veterinary teams, clients and patients safe during the COVID-19 outbreak, pet owners can take the following precautions when visiting a veterinary clinic:

• Call ahead to schedule an appointment.
• Notify the clinic if you have travelled outside of the country, are showing any symptoms or are feeling unwell, so appropriate precautions can be taken.
• Refrain from bringing other family members with you to your appointment.
• Purchase pet food in reasonable amounts (avoid panic buying).
• Wash/sanitize your hands before and after your appointment and practice social distancing whenever possible.

Veterinary clinics have safety protocols in place and are working hard to care for pets during this outbreak. If you have any questions, call your veterinarian.
