The weather outside is frightful
So:
Couldn't say no to these 3 out in the cold.

Working on trapping mom as well.
Thanks to Chris Thomas 😇 for helping them
Click each photo for their info 😺

They are about 7 weeks old,
Thankfully finder was handling them so they aren't fully feral, just cautious.
I can't keep them for myself 😻 but they are soooo sweet and happy to be warm.

Hopefully will reunite with mom this weekend then they will be looking for loving homes in the next few weeks.

Kitten season doesn't stop and neither can we.

If you'd like to donate toward their vet care, please etransfer to [email protected] with RRRESCUE in the notes, or [email protected] for our charity general fund.

Candy is ready to find her furever home!

Candy is now 12ish weeks old and a healthy happy girl.
She was born with a luxating patella but it seems to cause her no real issues or pain and she moves around very well, showing improvement since she entered care about a month ago.
She gets along well with other cats, has had limited dog exposure.
Good with kids, friendly and affectionate, likes to be picked up and cuddled.
She will be spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated prior to adoption.

Archie and Peteunia are ready to find their furever home(s)!

Both boys, these 2 are not bonded but must go to a home with another cat as they are very social and playful.
Raised with kids, cats, some dog exposure.

Pete (tabby) is one of our youngest orphans ever to survive. He wasn't technically orphaned as we also have mom (Primrose) but she was injured and unable to care for her babies. Pete was found in the rain, and brought in at about 3 days old with sniffles, and bottle-fed around the clock. He's now a healthy happy little man.

Archie (tuxedo) was found with his siblings Betty & Veronica, sick and with an absess on his right eyeball. With meds and lots of tlc, his eye is fully cleared up but he does have a small scar left behind that looks like a cloudy spot on his eye - only noticeable if you know to look for it. Happy healthy boy now.
Sept 1 2025 estimated birth date

Both have first shots and we cover neuter, microchip, and full vaccines

BONDED PAIR
Ellie & Lucky are looking for a loving home together.

Ellie has feline calcivirus so they should be the only cats in the home.
Ellie came to us at 6 weeks old, covered in motor oil, found in Wiarton Foodland where she bit her rescuer, so had to complete a 10 day quarantine hold for Public Health. She has shown ZERO aggression since and is an absolute sweetheart though sometimes love bites (gently). She's VERY affectionate.
When she arrived, she had an upper respiratory infection and her right eye was wounded - likely a scratch - which healed over well and is now scarred. That wound is most likely what allowed entry for the calcivirus though she didn't show symptoms until after she finished antibiotics for the uri. So we put her together with Lucky who was also now healthy, unknowingly exposing her to the virus. Lucky shows no symptoms and is a healthy, though chunky girl. Ellie needs her eye wiped once every few days.

Lucky came to us the day of a friend & board members wedding. We were at the reception and got a call about a kitten actively seizing in the middle of the road. We rushed home before dinner even started and Luck arrived, just finished a seizure and not looking good. We assumed that because she was found in the middle of the road, not off to the side, that she was hit by a car and had a head wound causing the seizures. A tip Dr Richard told me years ago to put honey on gums in case of seizure in case it is hypoglycemic cause - we did that and she recovered almost immediately, gobbled a bunch of wet food, and never seized again. She was just starving to death, seizing from starvation. It was also a very hot day which I'm sure didn't help. She was FERAL, as Sarah Bennett can attest to. She is now a friendly girl, though she doesn't love to be picked up. Food and gentleness is the key to her heart.

They haven't been directly exposed to dogs much, Ellie warms up pretty quickly but Id expect Lucky to be stressed by higher energy dogs &/or children. My cat-savvy nieces can pet her and play with her well and often do: Becky Stein

Both are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will make lovely companions for a calm home. Both use the litter box religiously but prefer an uncovered box and clay litter, they don't like pellet or paper litter.
We've had both girls over a year now, we'd love to see them go to a wonderful home.

As always, the second adoption fee is 50% of the full - Facebook doesn't allow the fee to be posted so please pm to confirm if interested.
Also, if either requires grooming or boarding services, we always give our alumni a 13% discount for the life of the pet.

If you'd like to meet these lovely young ladies, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/200338234615044
