FawkesTrot is saying “See you this fall” to our beloved . Lauren has very literally put so much blood sweat and tears into our FawkesTrot family and we couldn’t have more gratitude for her. She will still be helping out behind the scenes and we will see her face in the fall - but please give lauren your warmest wishes as she heads to Dawson for the summers to work with family.

Meanwhile, please welcome the newest keeners to our fearless leader crew ❤️ Kayleigh .fawkestrot 💜 Erin and 💚 Allison .allison will be out adventuring with our dogs in Lauren’s stead. We had to say goodbye to far too many beautiful souls this year. We love you and we miss you so, so much. Jack, Winston, Marty, Atlas, and Kenai.

Jackie, nobody will match your 10,000 pickup kiss record or your skills at feigning deafness❤️. Thank you for refusing to grow old for as long as you could.
Winston, you are so very literally all of our dog, it feels like we were yours and you were ours, nobody will lead a pack with calm authority and side wiggles the way you did.
Martine. Your smile will never, ever be beat. No matter how many squirrels you plan on chasing we can’t NOT be so so excited to see your beaming toothless face in the morning.
Atlas, you have the heart of the GOODEST BOY, and we were so lucky to have you - we could give you to absolutely any leader and know they would be thrilled to have you and your kind well-behaved self.
Kenie-weenie, we didn’t have to see you on trail to know that you were ALWAYS right there in the woods alongside us getting as many sniffs in while causing as little drama as physically possible - thank you for being so happy with us in the wilderness and reminding us why we do what we do.

You all left spaces in your peoples lives, and your pack leaders lives that will always be yours. We weren’t ready to say goodbye to any of you, but thank you so much for sharing your never-long-enough time here with us ❤️

This cold snap has really got me thinking about how it might impact our holiday season for local givers, receivers, and businesses. it is so so so important, especially when we feel a bit trapped in our house and tempted to have things delivered namelessly to our door, to be intentional about who we are supporting with the money we spend. A reminder about our cold weather protocol! We have a super BRISK week upon us and this means almost definitely many cancellations. We will email groups as soon as the weather is either very very obviously going to be below cutoff for a hike, or if less obvious - right after environment canada updates their weather at 7am and 11am for morning or afternoon hikes respectively. Insofar, Tuesday is looking safe (even if the entire rest of the week is likely not..). STAY SAFE out there and make sure you have your booties ready!

Our next Rawbone order is going in November 7th! Head to our website to preorder our 24lb bulk boxes. We keep 6lb boxes of each protein in stock at our shop for top ups between orders and for folks who prefer dabbling with small amounts. Rawbone’s meals meet NRC standards for all life stages dog food - this means you can feel confident that you are meeting your dogs nutritional needs while feeding a fresh, species appropriate diet that is excellent for dogs with allergies or sensitivities, supports their oral health, microbiome, and overall longevity and health span. You can cook a number of their recipes if that is what’s needed for your dog and family!

We love it when clients become our teammates. Meet Jenn ❤️ Jenn comes to us having done aaaall of the training first with Coco 🤎 and now Jack with - and she loves to bike, hike, and watch your dogs frolic. We are stoked to send her out on a fatbike this winter either the awesome Tuesday morning (previously Britt’s) crew! Her own little brown doodle jack is a long time member of this crew - and as of next week every week will be bring your mom to school week ;). Thank you so much for keeping this crew happy and fit while I’ve been off with my little human - and for passing the torch to Jenn! Tagging our tuesday morning crew to give Jenn a follow for all of your weekly adventures 🐾
