Pt 1. Products.

I wanted to add a quick note on products I utilize through Grateful Paws. Previous to starting this business i was a merchandiser in a pet supply store- Allowing me to really dive deep into the various brands and individual products available on the market. With so many options sometimes it’s hard to choose which ones are the safest, and most effective options to use. Many products are cheap, perfume and chemical heavy- damaging the skin and coat, along with putting mine and the dogs general well-being at risk. Thankfully i’ve been able to go through, research and test hundreds of types which have refined my options to only the best quality. All products i use (shampoos, conditioners, leave ins, treatments, sprays, dematt sprays, etc) are paraben and dye free, they are natural, have been certified and are of human quality. A proper groom starts with a freshly, properly cleaned and dried pup- this is not a simple bath and towel dry. ;) And without this step being completed at the highest standard the groom is incomplete and can cause various skin issues (dermatitis of the skin). Along with shampoo, conditioner, paw and elbow balm and ear cleaner which are used with every groom; i also use various leave in conditioners and rest treatments depending on the coat and needs of the animal. Whether it be to help repel dirt and grime from accumulating, making the groom last as long as possible once home. Or addressing dander, dry itchy skin, allergies, hotspots, or previous damage from lesser products used, i have them on hand!
