Nooooo! What this means to me. Even if I raise the price of my products, it won’t help offset the tariffs. The reason for this is because every dollar charged is hit with the additional 50% tariff. Charge more = More tariffs. If anyone has an idea how to make shipping to the states work in light of this sledge hammer, please let me know. I love my US Hermie family❣️

Hi! My name is Janet and I live in Alberta, Canada. Hermit crabs are not as popular here (a good thing), but the ones that are here deserve every opportunity to thrive. I have a crabby business on Etsy, under the same name, and I absolutely love applying my love and understanding of hermit crabs (and all animals) with my love of crafting and design. I have 4 dogs, 2 tortoises, a community freshwater fish tank (with cherry neocaridina shrimp), 1 cat and my ever so loving patient and supportive husband. My children are 22 and 17 years old. I love nature, connecting with positive energy, and believing that I can be anything I want to be when I “grow up”. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this group!

House/Pet Sitter arrives tomorrow. Leaving home gives me anxiety, even with my trusting and loving house sitter. Only way to deal with this is to prep meals and leave very detailed instructions. What do you do?

A little behind-the-scenes crafting for a custom Mason’s Treehouse

These ladders are handmade using ethically sourced Alberta birch branches that I prepare myself, paired with natural h**p twine.

One of my favourite parts of creating for Northern Crabitat is combining 3D design and printing with good old fashioned, hands on crafting using natural materials.

Sometimes the simplest materials make the coolest pieces.
