With the snow melting away, be cautious of the hidden dangers that lie beneath.
Under the slush, ice, shattered glass, and other sharp objects may be lurking. Piles of road salt can be harsh on paws and stomachs, and melted runoff on sidewalks, parking lots, and streets may carry chemicals, antifreeze, and bacteria that are toxic to dogs. As spring approaches, ticks and mosquitoes start to emerge earlier than expected.
At Dogz For Dayz, we're vigilant about our footing, avoid mysterious puddles, and keep a close eye on the dogs to ensure they can enjoy the thaw safely.
Save this as a reminder for your next "half-snow, half-mud" walk
