King Hopkins Pet Hospital is looking to hire 2 Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) / Veterinary Technicians to join our growing team! New graduates are encouraged to apply! 👩🎓 👨🎓
We are a busy, multi-doctor 24-hour hospital providing both emergency and general practice services. We care for cats, dogs, pocket pets, and exotics 🦜🐇🦮🐈 While we are a fast-paced emergency hospital, we also have a loyal client base that trusts us with their pets' routine care—because who doesn't love a puppy or kitten vaccine appointment? 🐶🐾
Our hospital is fully equipped with:
• Digital radiography
• Hands-free radiology protocols
• Cold laser therapy
• In-house IDEXX laboratory, including SediVue and blood gas analyzers
• Dental radiography
• Ultrasound
Our RVTs play an integral role in patient care. Responsibilities include:
• Placing IV catheters
• Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
• Performing dental cleanings and charting
• Collecting blood and urine samples for analysis
• Assisting veterinarians with appointments and procedures
• Performing hands-free radiographs
• Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients
• Scheduling
As a 24-hour hospital, we are looking for team members who are available to work a variety of shifts, including days☀️, evenings✨, overnights🌙, weekends, and holidays as needed.
We value a healthy work-life balance and strive to offer flexible scheduling whenever possible to accommodate your preferences. Our standard shifts are 10 hours, with 12-hour shifts also available for those who prefer them.
We are currently hiring for:
🐾 Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician who is available to work a flexible schedule, with a primary focus on overnight shifts.
🐾 Registered Veterinary Technician who is available to work a flexible schedule, including a combination of day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage: $25.00-$29.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Details

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule:
• 10-12 hour shifts
• Day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Registered Veterinary Technician preferred
• Veterinary Technician with relevant experience will also be considered!
