Puppies need naps. Southend explains why perfectly. They are babies and naps ALOT while at the breeders and with their litter mates. To expect a puppy to be well behaved while being overtired and over stimulated is going to cause you to pull you hair out

This is sabe (saw-bay)His owners went camping in Broadview, Saskatchewan and he has taken off. Please keep an eye out for him. They believe he may be with another dog as they are also missing his dog. He is very friendly and should come to strangers. Please contact me ASAP if anyone has information of his whereabouts he does have a microchip so hopefully he will be found and returned to his owners

Copied from another

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $3,000
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average cost $3000and up, more like $5000 minimum ). Also a male(average cost $3000 and up and again more like $5000 and up) or semen (average $2000 and up). You will need to show them to their championship to show they meet the breed standard(Minimal $2000 with travel & fees). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $1200per dog. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (So minimal $150 per month/dog)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a liter and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you will pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed.
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1500 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a professional you don't only pay for the puppy but also:
Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc.

I can’t even tell you how much money goes into raising each litter. It’s overwhelmingly expensive and doesn’t pay much. ..

Some training exercises with hawk. Teaching the ”leave it@ command is extremely important part of training. Not only does it help with impulse control but if ever something drops that you don’t want your pup to have you can give the command to leave it.
He is pretty good with the leave it command so we made it harder with throwing the treats for extra enticement. To start off with this though we had a great right in front of him with my hand close by. I would say leave it and cover the treats if he went for it. If he gave me eye contact without going for it we immediately gave him a treat.
Eventually I will do this while out on a walk. I will drop a treat and ask him to leave it and then once he gives me eye contact he will get a reward for not taking the dropped treat ( we are just not there yet though)
Adding in the sit and down and leave it makes him think about the command rather than just the repetition of the act this way he can decipher between all the commands at any given time

I cannot stress enough about the cleanliness of your pets bowls and especially the water bowl. If your dog has been having chronic ear infections/ urinary tract infections, diarrhea that doesn’t stop, inflammation throughout the body. Long term issues are dental disease, plaque, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease. these are often the first signs of a dirty bowl. And not only are they imperative for your pets well being but your own as well as many of these bacteria that grow on your pets bowls are transferable to humans.

Biofilm contains deadly bacteria such as: staph, E. coli, listeria, candida, salmonella, H. pylori, and many more. Your pets and family members (especially children and elders) are at risk--learn what to do about biofilm in your home!

Please don’t feed rawhides to your dogs. There is TONS of sick/ dying dogs from these. We were guilty of feeding our own these prior to me finding out just how bad they are for them. I’ve processed deer Hyde myself and I can tell you from the source there is nothing good about it. The Hyde needs to soak in a VERY strong lye mixture to get the hair off and then it’s painted with a softener so it’s plyable ( maybe just for leather for this last part) they roll the Hyde up and then use Glue to make it. And on top of it the Hyde itself is not digestible for your dog. It can stay in the stomach for a very long time which is where the major problem starts. Blockage surgery is expensive and the alternative is death for beloved pet. There is lots of alternative chews for your dogs like bulky sticks or my favorite is soup bones ( raw and frozen) they are cheap and your local butcher probably sells these.
