Yes animals have been domesticated for quite sometime but there mind, and body have never changed. Here at Sunshine Pets we go by 6 simple rules ; 1. NO Byproducts 2. NO Seperated grains 3. NO Bad fats/preservatives 4. Just because its expensive doesn't mean its good 5. Must have a good quality protein 6. If the company doesn't make there own food, don't buy it Staying away from all these will ensure your pet a better lifestyle as to gut health, energy, weight, and any type of body functions. You always want a high omega fatty acid in your food and a healthy one like flaxseed oil, sunflower oil, and fish oil (some examples). You want to stay away from fillers like corn, beetpulp and wheat, these are all used so it is cheaper for the company to make the food and your dog will have a larger stool production more frequently.
