Kelowna, Highway 33 aprox 10km out from Big White Rd turn off.

✅ Call owner immediately
❌ Call out, chase or spook her
❌ Do NOT leave food unattended this is a heavy wildlife area
✅ Keep eyes on her from a distance until owners arrive

After a severe MVA - We need sightings to continue coming in, but it is equally important that people keep their distance and avoid disturbing the area where she is being seen.

This is critical for a dog in flight, especially following the accident she was involved in. Approaching, calling to, or attempting to follow her can cause her to flee further and make recovery much more difficult.

We greatly appreciate the community’s support and ask that everyone continue to report sightings immediately while giving her the space she needs to feel safe. Thank you for helping bring her home safely.

Cyrus is now home safe 🐾❤️🐾

🐾 Trust the process. When rescuers ask the public not to call out or chase a lost dog it’s for the dogs safety! A dog that is spooked, lost, and in flight often won’t even go to its own owners. A calm, patient approach is critical, and anyone who isn’t bonded with the dog should keep their distance and act as eyes only.

In this case, thank you to everyone in Armstrong who called in sightings, were “eyes on” and helped bring Cyrus home safely, it truly takes a village 🐾❤️🐾
