Last week we had the privilege of meeting this sweet little rescue girl, Coraline ❤️🐾

She was badly in need of a tidy up… and just look at those Grinch feet! 🥹✨

Coraline’s mom is a soprano with the Grand Philharmonic Choir — a choir that Susan is also proud to sing with. As part of the choir’s recent major fundraiser, a 5K walk/run, Coraline’s mom won a gift certificate for a groom with Susan.

We love seeing our community come together to support local arts and culture 🎶 — while also giving some extra TLC to the special pups in our region.

Precious Memories. We are missing all of our beautiful fur babies so much. Many more have or will journey over the rainbow bridge this year. Each one of important to us. Over the next while you will see some new things, events and opportunities at TLC Groomery - to help up remember, to help us grieve, and to help us celebrate those that we’ve loved and lost. There is so much drama happening in the TLC Groomery salon! Will Milo and Oakley swipe right for each other?!? Will Susan someday stop having ridiculous conversations with the dogs?!? Will we ever get all the brown shedding fur vacuumed up?!? Stay tuned - you never know what we might get up to!

Pet grooming is not for the weak.

Another incredible groomer recently shared a “quick” list of the hazards groomers face every day — bites, scratches, repetitive strain injuries, back and shoulder damage, slips, burns, flying equipment, unpredictable animals… the list just kept going.

Honestly, reading it makes us wonder how groomers are still standing upright at the end of the day. 😂

But behind the humour is a very real reality: grooming is physically demanding work, and injuries are unfortunately common in this industry.

With that in mind, our sweet Syd will be off for approximately 8 weeks while she recovers from surgery for a grooming-related injury. We are going to miss her tremendously, but her health comes first, and we know she’ll come back stronger than ever. ❤️

Please send Syd lots of healing thoughts while she begins her recovery journey.
