Dangerous, record-breaking heat is forecast for the Midwest and East Coast this week. Please keep your pets indoors as much as possible, where it’s cool and safe.

Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If you can’t hold it there for five seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
