Suri's orphans have left. These three orphans were brought in weak and malnourished. They were approximately a week old and we were not sure what their outcome would be. The calico was in the weakest state but now the heaviest. Suri was feeding 5 of her own but accepted these three as part of her litter. We alternated bottle feeds to give Suri a break. Now approximately 4 weeks old they are with someone who will continue caring for them. These three little nuggets were a joy. Maybe not for Suri though.

URGENT - BOWEL OBSTRUCTION - DONATIONS NEEDED

We need your help to save a furbaby in care. Snowball went to the vet due to lethargy and poor appetite and is now been hospitalized and put on IV due to a bowel obstruction. His vet visit will be costly, but you can't put a price on this sweet boy's life.

Please help us save Snowball. E-transfer can be made to Pawsitive Animal Hospital at [email protected] with Souls Transitioned in the memo or by credit card by calling the vet clinic,. E-transfer can also be made direct to [email protected] with Snow in memo.

We need a miracle, can you help?

Good Afternoon Everyone,
As part of the transition to Souls Transitioned Animal Rescue (away from Our Earth Angels to the Rescue), there will be new moderators in place on this account and in the Souls Transitioned group page.
We ask for your patience as we work to breathe a little more life into this page and apply new policies and processes to how we conduct ourselves and advocate for the cats in our care and communities.
If you're interested in donating for any of the animals currently in care, please send funds to our previous e-mail: [email protected] with the animal name /purpose of your donation in the memo.
If you are looking for intake, please connect with Closed Namechange as she will be the first point of contact until the process is finalized
If you are interested in joining our community, fostering or volunteering, please send us a direct message here and we will connect with you.
Have a wonderful week ahead!

⛔️⚠️GRAPHIC ALERT⚠️⛔️

Bonita's case is complicated. New plan of action is to only amputate two vertebrae up from where she had lost her tail. With new skin exposed her vet had a chance to examine the severity of the frostbite after losing the first half of her tail in January where her tail was broken and a bone was protruding. Bonita needed a shelter until she could be contained. They approached someone who made shelters and asked if they could borrow one until Bonita could be contained. This request was turned down and were given the cost to purchase one. We were contacted regarding a shelter and had one sent out. Bonita was fed, given water and provided the shelter for by community members. Bonita's case is not a simple as there is much involved. Due to circumstances we can not go into full detail. As transparent as we like to be, this case involves the PHIA act and privacy of others involved.

Bonita was contained and surrendered to us Feb.14th. This fell on a long weekend. Our vet was emailed with pics of her condition day of intake. Bonita's story is not simple. She lost half her tail in January and had frostbite on her feet when finally contained Feb. 14th. Bonita was brought into our vet and put on 10 days of antibiotics and a quote was given. Our vet was going to spay and do tail amputation same time however, Bonita was in heat during this time. Bonita needed to complete her antibiotics prior to surgery which would have been March 1st.

While being on antibiotics we got a quote from second vet. The quote we received was a bit cheaper although, her treatment and plan to amputate and spay was on par with Bonita's first vet.

While on antibiotics the scab came off Bonita's tail exposing skin tissue. We contacted our vet via e-email with an update and pics but there didn't seem to be an urgent concern and were told to complete the course of antibiotics. We were told the same by her second vet as well.

Plan of action, complete antibiotics, spay during tail amputation by both vets involved in . Bonita's case. She was put on the cancellation list. Her appointment was pushed from March 6th, to March 4th.

Leaving her tail unwrapped would subject her once again to infection due to litter or other possible bacterial infections. Supplies, treatment, and medications were provided by Bonita's vet.

Our vets and fosters have done an amazing job keeping our furbabies healthy. We want to give a huge Thank You to each and every one of them. If you would like to help with Bonita's care please contact Meadowood. They do not have e-transfer but will accept credit card. Please mention Bonita C/O Souls Transitioned Animal Rescue or e-transfer directly to [email protected]. Bonita in memo. It is more difficult to keep track of funding via vet as we do not get regular updates.

We got this message yesterday afternoon. We thought it was a click bait scam at first. We posted it as a possibility until we were informed it was a text message to someone we knew. We waited all day and evening for an update. We had foster offers and transport volunteer if needed. It wasn't until almost 10 PM we were notified owner was home. We had a foster ready to go. Kitten is safe. Paws landed softly in the safety of the foster's home. Thank you to those who stepped up to volunteer to transport and foster this furbaby.
