And this is my Maui cat, named Maui, adopted 04/23 at 8 years of age from a desolate part of the road to Hana….he survived that long by hunting. I saw a wee kitten dart across the road at dusk on this road this trip. This island has such a dumping of kittens problem!

These cats are ‘friendly ferals’ in Maui Westin Ka’anapali. They have been brave enough to befriend people, and fed occasionally by the wonderful people at Maui Cat rescue and Maui Cat Coalition. If anyone wants to adopt them, I am looking at shipping them up to Victoria. I adopted a Maui cat in this way last strip and they are very sweet, amazing cats. I know there are so many strays everywhere, but these ones have been here for years, deserve a chance, and to be rewarded for their kindness, courage.

Let me know if anyone is interested. They just may end up at Oak Bay Pet Cliniv one day!
