Thankyou to all the members and volunteers of the Calgary Cat Association for an exceptionally well run show this past weekend. Lots of vendors, a big crowd, and beautiful cats! It was great to meet new breeders and cat lovers wanting to know about different breeds. Thanks to the judges that showed much love for my 7 month old “Buster” Sagewynds Final Edition. Buster made 11 of 12 finals and was best kitten in 2 all breed rings and a shorthair specialty ring. He was relaxed and enjoyed the attention. Steve Lawson is always a favourite with his “corny” but still funny jokes and the crowd loves him.
And thanks to my road trip partner, Paige, who made the long trip go such much faster. We had some laughs along the way.

HOLLOWHILLS EXOTICS CLOSING

After 30+ years of breeding and showing the wonderful breeds of Persians and Exotics, Verna, of Hollowhills has made the difficult decision to end this hobby she has poured so much love and time into. This has come about due to unforeseen medical issues and therefore, I have taken on the task of rehoming for her. All enquiries will go through me. There are several retired adults looking for forever home and I will start with the 3 boys that are to be neutered in a few days.

BEEMER is a red tabby/white -RESERVED
KODY is a black/brown tabby that is 8 years old - RESERVED

All the boys are sweethearts and will be ready to go a couple of weeks after their neuter. Finn and Beemer are big boys, Kody a little smaller.

Time to introduce 2 new girls to Sagewynd. Hollowhills Frankie of Sagewynds is now 9 months old and has been with us for 7 months. She is a gorgeous black and white with the most glorious coat. Sjavone’s Elegance of Sagewynd (Lucy) is 7 months old and has been with us for a month. Lucy journeyed all the way from Lithuania last month and it was a very long trip for her. It took some time to adjust but she is totally at home with us now. She is a very beautiful blue silver torbie/white with very good structure and a lovely plush coat. Looking forward to babies from these two later in 2026.

TIGGY HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME

Tiggy is a neutered 3 year old brown tabby and white boy that is looking to find his forever people. He is a beautiful boy that was to be part of my breeding program, but that didn’t work out. Imported from France, he was an expensive venture that was a disappointment as far as using for breeding. I would like him to find someone to give him the love and attention he craves and deserves. He is such a sweet boy, gives head bumps and is generally easy to care for. If seriously interested in adopting Tigrou, please message me for more information.
