Exciting news! I have booked the Colwood Community Hall for pet and people portrait sessions. There are only a handful of spots available, so if you are interested in securing a time, let me know.

Dates are:

Earlier this week I was given the opportunity to create some very special portraits. I spent nearly 3 hours with this gentleman and his 14 year old
It was a great day and I made a lot of great portraits, but this one stood out to me. I feel that it speaks volumes about the bond that these two share.

Back in August I had the opportunity to photograph a friends dog, Pancho. Pancho passed away later in 2020, completely devastating my pal. I completely understand how he felt, going through the loss of a pet is so very painful. I had the photos of Pancho on my computer and I knew that I wanted to do...

The K9 Sessions happen August 8th at the studio. You’ve still got time to practice smiling your best smile! There are sessions available in the morning and later afternoon. DM for more info.
- Kuma is the model for this post, she was a tank of a dog, a peace keeper, subtle enforcer of the rules, and a very sweet pupper. It was an honor to work with her!

I am happy to report that I am ready to book a few K9 Sessions at the studio! I have 6 appointment spaces available on August 8th beginning at 10:00am. There is plenty of time between sessions for cleaning, plenty of room for social distancing in the studio, and I kindly ask that masks be worn (people only) during the session. Here's a little video I put together of Lexi's first time in the new studio. She was a little unsure at the beginning, new place, strange noises, etc. She is so good though. BTW, this is how I like to work with client dogs as well. Easy pace set by the dog, good treats, and a relaxed atmosphere.

It’s been a long road, no question. But as long as we can look forward and keep putting one foot in front of the other we will continue to make progress towards our goals. Appreciate the distance covered, enjoy the place where you are, and look forward with enthusiasm. We will get through this.
With this in mind, I am pleased to report that I have taken a step forward. After six years, I once again have a photo studio to work in! Over the next few weeks I will be doing some test shoots to get acquainted with the space and equipment. I anticipate that I will be ready to welcome you to the space for K9 photos, corporate headshots, and maybe even some family sessions by mid July. I look forward to seeing you... at a socially acceptable distance.
