This wreath captures the past year and its cycles…garlic scapes that grew from bulbs planted a year ago, cress that overwintered and grew tall and unruly, dried stems from blooming dusty miller in June, and crocosmia pods that just went to seed.

All of these things were planted, nurtured, harvested and saved with intention and care.

Beautiful things take time…you just have to keep going and hold onto what feels right for you.

This is my Dad. I think he’s the most helpful person I know. We speak gardening and DIY….grow it, bake it, plant it, ferment it, build it, paint it, fix it, observe it.

Just your friendly neighbourhood flower farmer still out in the garden in mid-December (because where else would I be?).

I’m busy tending to the early spring flowers that will be blooming like crazy in a few months. Think poppies, calendula, TULIPS, ranunculus, cornflowers, peonies and the list goes on…

These 'Beautiful Things' are 3" glass discs filled with carefully chosen dried botanicals from our summer season at the farm this year.

The flowers are suspended in time, their beauty captured, combining things like fluffy bunny tails, curly grapevine tendrils & colourful strawflowers. Each one is unique!

They are intended to be hung in the home at any time of year as a sweet reminder that although things may change as they age, they only become more beautiful....

Choose from 'Cedar & Citrus' or 'Grasses & Greens' and we'll make your wreath fresh-to-order just for you, ready for pick up just in time to get festive.

All greens and grasses have either been grown and harvested right here on the farm, or have been thoughtfully collected with permission from friends and neighbours.
