The little guy was adopted from a client when he wasn’t working in that current environment… the big lab was adopted by us at 1.5yrs old. Both had trust and possession issues. Look at these boys now!! It was work though, lots of patience to show each that their boundaries were respected and the humans would help them with that 🥰

They adore each other! So important to always be the human in these interactions still and Emme will always have an “out” if she’s had enough. Cruzer never chases her when she bolts.

Tonight’s my last night with Jack 🥲 Wish I had my phone walking up to the mailbox this evening. I got the mail out and he was so interested in it. I gave him a little flyer to see what he would do… (He always brings me toys and things he finds around the house)… he carried the flyer the whole way back home! He was so proud of himself. What a smart, sweet, adorable little guy. Going to miss him 💙🥰💙
