Summer season is fast approaching and The Bulldog Hotel and Grand Cafè is now hiring. We are looking to fill the below roles:

- Restaurant Supervisor
- Kitchen Helpers and Dishwashers
- Servers and Bartenders
- Administration/Bookkeeper
- Front Desk Supervisor
- Housekeepers

All roles will be a mix of part time and full time hours. We offer competitive wages, on site shared staff accommodation and a great working environment. The commencement date for all roles will be mid to late June with some flexibility for the right candidates. We are hiring a Maintenance Attendant to maintain and fix amenities of guest rooms, common spaces of the hotel properties and three Vacation homes.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a flexible schedule dependent on abilities.
Duties:
• Maintain and improve upon hotel guest rooms, additional public areas, and vacation homes by performing routine maintenance jobs and repairs
• Perform hotel room and homes repair activities. (i.e., handrails, walls, doors, flooring.)
• Maintaining the building exterior (e.g. snow removal, lawn care, painting).
• Perform heavy lifting (i.e., move heavy furniture, remove scrap and debris)
• Troubleshooting and reporting repair requirements, malfunctions in electrical/mechanical systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing) and other hotel equipment.
• Conducting ongoing preventative maintenance. Inspecting property to identify potential and current needs
• Estimating department expenditures for budget purposes.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• Prior maintenance or trades experience
• Must be able to lift medium to heavy loads weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
• BC Driver’s license
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
