Well this morning our good mare Scout (Dox Silver Sage) gave birth to her second foal - a beautiful filly sired by Dun A Smart Play!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Watson-Wilson Performance Horses for not only accommodating my program the last several months, but coaching and mentoring me through my time as an assistant.

I have been able to spend some quality time in the saddle starting c**ts, training young horses and riding some talented cowhorses and cutters along the way. Whitney and her mom have truly helped me kickstart my business and I am forever grateful for the hospitality, the lessons learned and the friends made. Moving into the next chapter is bittersweet!

That being said, I will be leaving a position to fill. For any keen young trainers looking for quality coaching and mentorship, or simply a space to run your business out of, there’s an opportunity here. Whitney is truly a very talented horsewoman and you will be lucky to have the opportunity to learn from her.

As of June 1st, 2025, Lauryn Rachel Horsemanship will be operating out of Spa Alp Equines LTD SW of Salmon Arm.
Monthly rates are $1600+GST

This page will also be undergoing some branding changes as I team up with my partner, Aiden Evenson, so stay tuned.

We are excited to now offer individual penning for client horses!
We also have access to: indoor arena, outdoor arena, round pen, and TRAILS!

Haul in lessons are continually welcomed, and we are now also able to offer lessons with a lesson horse provided.

My mission stays the same: to build confident, soft and willing horses. We are excited to continue building this program. Aiden and I both specialize in c**t starting. My background encompasses a range of disciplines including rodeo timed events, western performance, Cowhorse, trail and a bit of jumping. Aiden balances me out with his expertise in ranch horse versatility as well as Cowhorse and general western riding. We both also carry experience breaking pack horses!

We are excited to work with you and your horses.
Currently we are able to offer 2 more spots for training as of June 1st, and space is limited thereafter. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us about our program.

I also have one opening for barrel horse hauling & seasoning and one opening for a cowhorse show horse.

In addition, ask us about hosting us for a clinic of any kind this year.

Second obstacle clinic this year, hosted by Spa Alp Equines LTD !

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to enter the show pen in cowboy challenge, ranch riding or hit the trails! This clinic is also ideal for young or green horses!
