Homeless man jumps off Westport wharf to rescue puppy; scene is caught on surveillance camera 🐕
Images from the Westport Pier begin with an unexpected scene. A man approaches the railing with a black sports bag, throws it into the water and disappears before anyone can stop him. A few meters away, a homeless man, wrapped in a blanket, notices the moving bag.
Without waiting for rescue, he ran to the edge and jumped into the water. A few minutes later, the camera filmed him rising up on the dock, drenched and shivering, the bag at its side. Opening it, he discovers a tiny puppy inside, wet, scared and struggling to lift its head. The man removes his jacket and wraps the puppy in it until rescue arrives.🐶
When asked why he risked his life for a dog he didn't know, he replies: "I am here because of my choices." This dog did not choose to be in that bag. Also, I'm used to being cold. "The puppy is safe and sound and recovering from his injuries." Internet users are searching for the man who saved them.❤️🐾
