Good news for Gigi! Her abdominal ultra sound went really well! Her kidneys are a bit on the small side but everything else looked good. The vet has recommended potassium supplements plus kidney support supplements to help her. We are so happy for this sweet kitty!!❤️

Please say some prayers for little Gigi our 19 year old special lady. Tomorrow she is having an ultra sound, the vet suspects lymphoma :'(

We have two new cats in our care right now. Gigi who is 19 years young was brought to us to care for as her owner had to go to a retirement home and could not bring her. She is the sweetest cat, loves attention and purrs constantly! The second cat is a female as well named Alyera. She is approximately 6 or 7 years old and is extremely affectionate, she loves her cat nip toys! Unfortunately, her owner suffered a massive heart attack and we are fostering Alyera until she recovers and is well again.

Zooley had a big day yesterday, he went to the vet for a check up! He had his vaccinations, blood drawn (which he didn't like poor kitty) and was dewormed. He has gained lots of weight since he has been in our care, this handsome gentle cat is such a sweetheart!

Some of you may have wondered about the gorgeous ginger cat on our cover photo, his name is Zooley and this is his story:
Zooley is about 14 years old and was recently found living in an apartment all alone in horrific conditions! He lived in a place filled with mice and garbage, no food, water or litter box - we rescued him just in time! He is such a sweet kitty, loves to cuddle and purrs up a storm! Next week he will go to the vet for a checkup, hopefully everything is fine and he just needs to put on some weight. The photos below are hard to look at, such a sad situation for the person who lived there and poor Zooley...

Here are some of our cats in care and their story. These two lovely sisters were rescued after their previous owner was evicted from his apartment for not paying his rent. His idea of dealing with the situation was to just let them go out into the world alone!! The girls have recently been spayed and vaccinated and will be adopted to their fur ever home soon!
